2013 Recipient:  Jesse Stallings

"The EMC Scholarship has helped me immensely. It helped me pay for the dues of the college and made it easier for me to go into class focusing on my school work instead of the college bills. It allowed me to make a 3.0 my first semester of college, where I am majoring in Wildlife Biology, which is a very difficult course because of the overload of science courses you are required to take. I am so honored to have received the EMC scholarship. I know that Ethan loved the outdoors so I am happy to be going into a field that will honor his memory. Also, I am very thankful to have been given the opportunity to meet with the family, they took me in like I was one of their own and I am so blessed to have that experience. The EMC Scholarship has helped me begin my journey in college on the right foot, and I hope to continue to do well. Thank you to all of the Catteruccia family. I am blessed to have y'all take part in my life."   -Jesse Stallings

2014 Recipient:  Camille Arcado

“I want to thank you with all of my heart for the generosity and kindness you have shown me.  The money you have sent will go to my future studies in Biology and Wildlife Management.  It has restored my hopes in pursuing a career path in a field that I know I will enjoy.  In all honesty, when I sent in the requirements I had no idea that I would actually be chosen.  Luck has never been on my side, despite my Irish blood.  I really cannot express my gratitude in words, but I’ll let this last sentence sum up my thoughts.  I look forward to continuing my education and preserving the great outdoors in which I find peace; thank you for the good news when I needed it the most.”  - Camille Arcado
